What claiming unlocks
One record, three tiers. Unclaimed is the bar-roster baseline every profile starts from. Claimed is free. Enhanced comes later, and no state of the record changes how organic listings are ordered.

How verification works
Control of a public record requires proof of identity. Verification runs in order, fastest route first, and most claims finish at the first step.
Match your bar-roster contact
We send a one-time code to the email or mailing address your state bar already publishes for you. The roster that built the profile is the anchor that verifies it.
Confirm a firm-domain email
No usable roster contact? An email address at your firm's own domain, the same domain on your listing, serves as proof instead.
Take a callback at your office
If neither route fits, we schedule a short call to the office number already on your record and confirm the claim by voice.
What claiming never does
- It never buys position. Organic ordering is computed from the record, years licensed first, the same way for every attorney, claimed or not.
- It never hides an ad. Sponsored placements are separate slots, labeled with the Sponsored tag and a plain-language disclosure everywhere they appear.
- It never locks you in. You can correct your record, or request removal under the listing policy, whether or not you ever claim it.
